Max and Lillie Larsen Young Artist Award - 2008

Arthur Masyuk, a 14-year old student from Millard West High School was the winner of the 2008 Max and Lillie Larsen Award, given annually to outstanding young Nebraska string artists. Sponsored by the Meadowlark Music Festival, the award is made possible through the generosity of Max and Lillie Larsen.

Students from area high schools as well as home-schooled students participated in the 2008 competition, held in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Runner-up for the award is Kirsten Wissink, a senior at Lincoln Southeast High school. An honorable mention was given to Preston Bradley, a student at Lincoln East High School
