Grammy Nominee Dave Eggar and Band ‘Deoro’
to Perform at Meadowlark Music Festival on East Campus
Meadowlark Music Festival is expanding its Saturday evening concert to an afternoon of music and family-friendly activities at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus, capped by an evening concert by the Dave Eggar and Deoro on the green.
Afternoon Events and Dinner
From 4 – 6 p.m. the colleges will have their doors open to the public for free family-friendly events with musicians performing in nearly all venues, including the following:

American and British Mosaic Patchwork exhibit.

HARDIN HALL

Families will be encouraged to pick up a passport and map at any of these locations and have their passport stamped as they visit each college. Free ice cream, a special Meadowlark-themed flavor, will be provided from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. near the concert site by the Dairy Store to those who received three or more stamps.
A grill-out near the concert site will be available from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. with grilled burgers and hot dogs. Dinner may be purchased in advance or on site.
Concert
At 7:30 p.m., Dave Eggar and his band Deoro will take the stage to display their incredible talents with a fun and family-friendly take on classical chamber music: Xtreme Classical Crossover. "This night will be an explosive musical adventure that catapults the listener through many classical and contemporary landscapes!" says 2010 Grammy nominee, Dave Eggar
The group will include Dave Eggar, Charlie Palmer, Gregor Huebner, Ariel dela Portilla, Dina Fanai and Klaus Mueller.
